About
Twelve Stars Co. began with a phrase most people don't recognize.
Auspice Maria — under the protection of Mary. Two words carried by people who wanted her nearby without announcing it. That's the whole idea behind what we make.
The name comes from Revelation: a woman clothed with the sun, the moon beneath her feet, crowned with twelve stars. Twelve tribes. Twelve apostles. A crown that holds the whole story at once.
We make devotional goods for people who don't want the gift-shop version. No cartoon saints. No fonts that apologize. The design should be good enough to wear on a Tuesday and mean something on a Sunday — and the person next to you doesn't need to know which.
Everything is embroidered, not printed. We work with a small shop that stitches each piece and lets us reject the run if it isn't right. It costs more. It's worth it.
If you know what the words mean, you know. If you don't, now you do.
Auspice Maria.
